  1. Anyone heard anything from UofC's online program? I know it said that acceptance letters went out July 1st.
  2. Hi Taylor, I am in the same position as you. Last year I was also waitlisted, but eveything seemed to be on time. This year they seem to be behind on everything, which is so frustrating. Hopefully we will hear something soon. Good luck!!
  3. Also going on three year ABA therapist here ?. It's certainly challenging at times, but totally worth it. I would agree to make sure your company is ethical! As an RBT, five percent of your hours need to be supervised by a BCBA. If you are not meeting this, your liscense can be revoked. Also, I would recommend to look for another company if they are asking you to sign a non compete clause (speaking from experience). The experience is invaluable, as I have seen several SLP's come through who have no idea how to manage behaviors. Good Luck!
  4. Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to take an online chem/physics class. Unfortunately, I did not complete it in undergrad and am trying to take it as soon as I can.
  5. Thanks for the advice! I do have letters coming from a couple professors, and last year I was able to get a letter from our company's SLP but she no longer works there and I have lost contact.
  6. Hello everyone, a little background..I graduated almost 3 years ago with my Bachelors in speech. Post graduation, I've worked as an ABA therapist since SLPA positions are unavailable in my area. Being an ABA therapist, I have seen so much growth within myself and my goal is to work as an SLP in an ABA facility. I have applied to SIUC'S program for the past two years since it is within my area (southern indiana), and been waitlisted each time. I looking to apply to more online programs, but I am struggling to find them. I find myself so tempted to apply to programs such as emerson/nova but the cost, in addition to ungrad debt, really deters me. On one hand I am ready to dive headfirst into a program, the other I am considering my financial future. anyone else struggling with this? It's so difficult when you want something but can't figure out how to achieve it. My GRE scores are..not great and my undergrad GPA over is 3.2, speech a 3.5. I am getting letters of rec this time around from 3 BCBA's at my work. Anyone have any program recommendations or application advice if you are/were in a similar situation?
