Has a facebook page been started for UWG yet? And if you have also been accepted, I'd love to go ahead and start getting to know some of you guys! Even if you haven't made a final decision yet!

SO I ended up emailing the people who emailed us to begin with about the open house and explained our confusion and all the replied with is "you are certainly welcome to attend." So it didn't answer my question at all! I still haven't heard anything, but I wish thy would atlas g ahead and tell people who are rejected they're rejected because then if I feel in that category atleast I would know not to hold out for the Waitlist!

why in the heck do these schools not send out all of the emails on one day?!?! Like they know we all check things or know other people who applied. I think that's my biggest issue with this process. LET US KNOW!

I did! and I live all the way in Georgia, so I kinda don't wanna drive all the way there if I'm going to get a rejection letter the very next day! lol

I actually submitted a personal statement that didn’t really address the negatives of my application. I did discuss what I have been doing in the year between undergrad and applying to their program to explain the gap in academics. I think the personal essay is a great way for the school to learn more about you! So maybe highlight your concerns for GPA GRE etc. but also throw in some of your original personal statement! Who knows we may end up being class mates! Just submitted mine!

I took a class over the summer at Longwood, I had a wonderful experience with the professor and fellow classmates. A few of us even helped each other complete quizlets and google docs, test were online and professor was always extremely quick to get back with me with answers to any and every question! I actually took the class the person above is taking!
