I emailed Windsor the other day and they said: "We are just finalizing application reviews and are hoping to have admission status sent out by the end of the month." !
Laurier’s website says April.

Ahh I know! It’s my first year applying so I kind of expected it. I was hoping to at least get on the wait list though!
I just got my rejection too. 3rd year applying. Keep trying, keep working.

And I just got my email from Western.. not accepted. Just waiting on Laurier here but suddenly lost all hope.
Don’t give up hope! It’s not the end of the world, there are lots of opportunities out there, keep working hard.

I received an email today from Laurier that I’ve been put on the waitlist. Nothing has changed on Loris.
Was this for 2 year non bsw or advanced standing?

I noticed you’ve applied before! What did you do for this year to improve your application?
Ugh yes! This will be my third time. I applied right out of university which was a mistake. I’ve got a full year in a youth mental health facility, plus some other side jobs and some new certifications since my last application. It’s so competitive!

I applied to the same MSW programs and the wait is hard!! From what I've seen in past forums, Windsor sends out acceptances on a very long rolling basis... which means we could find out today or in 4 months from now or anywhere in between... not a fan!!!!
Let us know if you hear anything! Good luck!!
I applied to Laurier and Western/Kings too! Best of luck!! The wait is awful.

Has anyone heard from Laurier or Kings 2 year MSW with September start?

Still haven't heard from Laurier either! Has anyone gotten the snail mail yet, or the rejection on LORIS? I don't even know where to look on LORIS, could someone give me some direction?

Same goes for Western and U of T but I am am told that those are sent out mid March. ?
I have applied to the 2 year program for all of them.
Laurier told me that applicants won't be informed until as late as May!? Are people hearing back?

Hey - new to this thread but have been looking at it for quite some time now. Also a very nervous MSW applicant. Does anyone know when/how ryerson and york start accepting students? The wait is killer!
Good luck everyone Hoping for the best for all of you!!
I applied to York last year and I got declined (sad) in late March/ early April I think. Maybe that helps?

I was told the same about coaching. In your description of the job (resume/supplemental questions/etc) just focus on the social work aspects rather than the actual tasks.

I applied to 4 Canadian MSW programs last year with around 1000 hours and pretty solid grades and wasn't accepted. I talked to a few admissions people afterwards and they all said I didn't have enough experience. I know Carleton requires 3500 hours to apply, and usually the average applicant is 2+ years out of their undergrad (meaning they likely have 2 years of experience).
If you think you've got the grades and the funds to apply, go for it. It's good experience to even apply, the applications are a lot of work, but it'll make it less stressful for when/if you apply in upcoming years.

Has anyone who was waitlisted to Laurier's 2 year in-class MSW program been moved off the waitlist and has been accepted?
