I was in your shoes last year. This year I have 3 interviews. It was a humbling experience. I had only applied to top programs. This year, I had a better mix. I believe this helped me coupled with 3 posters that I got accepted to present in the summer. Keep at it. You will be more than fine.

Congrats! I would say that it is better to have a full suit. If you can endure the warmth to begin with, I would wear a jacket and a shirt with sleeves (maybe with breathable light material). Then, when you take your jacket off, you won't feel self conscious. In short, I agree with you, I wouldn't do sleeveless.

Hi Everyone! I saw some interview invites for the SDSU/UCSD joint PhD clinical program (15 Jan). From what I can tell from previous years, the invites tended to be two days apart or so- and that's it. Should I just give up all hope? What do you think? :(

I have rather an unfortunate, and stupid question. Now, one of the unis I applied to never reviewed my application because the system assumed I needed to take the TOEFL. In truth, I didn't need to as I did both my undergrad and MPhil in the UK. When I realised this, I tried reaching out and didn't receive a response for awhile. Now, they corrected the situation (i.e. it says 'ready for review' rather than 'materials needed') but never got back to me. From here, I feel like the interview week passed. What do you think will happen? Do you think they will actually review the application or will I receive an automatic rejection? It sucks because the school was my first choice.
