Yeah, I also had the acceptance letter to the Uni before the application; but I think the portal changes are being done for the applicants from Africa-East Asia, nothing heard from LA applicants, EU or US. Mine is still application submitted even after the interview. Anyway, good luck for both of us!

Just a question, in case they give the results at the end of march, what happens to the people that have to fly to Germany in April for the German course? There would almost be no time to arrange papers, etc...

My status has not changed since Oct 18; the dates I handle are different since I didn't apply for the EPOS-DAAD program. I expect an answer in 3 weeks. I guess EPOS applicants should have them before that.

Following this discussion, my application status is still "Application Submitted" and never received any confirmation letter; though I was interviewed on Oct 2018, the copies were recieved and the pre-selection committee has surely sent its feedback to Bonn so it could be reviewed by the selection committee, as I was told then. So, I guess the status updates on the Portal are related to the region/country. I'm from Central America.

This is what I have found: "The final rating will be the average of both single scores (academic achievements and research proposal). It will result in a ranking list, according to which successful and reserve candidates will be identified, taking into account the available funding. The commission will decide on the cut-off point below which funding is not possible." So far, you have not been rejected and depends on the DAADs funding.

Oh no, I didn't apply for the EPOS or any other option program they offer, so I could not properly answer. I tried the individual option and was accepted by a tutor at the LUH, now I'm just waiting for the DAAD scholarship results. Since they are a smaller Uni, they tend to be efficient when processing applications tough.

I can't remember where I found it, but I remember it was from a Colombian blogger who got the Phd scholarship.

I've read somewhere else that the local pre-selection comittees have strong influence on the final decision.

Hello everyone, I had the interview on Oct 25th, 2018, since then my status has not changed and it still says "Application Submitted"; glad to know we are all in the same condition regarding that. In the interview they told me the results will be given at the end of february, I am a bit anxious since I have some doubts related to my performance in the interview, they were 6-7 people asking me questions mainly about the research project; I think I could have done better but still hope for their approval.
