The few people who have mentioned Temple acceptances got theirs in December like a week after the deadline is what I’ve found. They also turned them in well before the deadline. And I know of 2 acceptances

He heard from Temple in December when they first started contacting people before the holiday break and stuff. There is still hope, I am waiting for them too.

So it is no longer just by the first week of February it got extended to mid?

I’m still hoping for the best from Temple. My mentor really would love for me to go there, and I have an in, but I thought I had an in at UCI and it turns out I did not.

My classmate in my masters program applied there and she is saying the same thing. You’re not alone.

Yeah I’m not feeling confident at all.

Decisions from ASU came out from what I know. Got rejected

From when I got into masters programs I was transparent with the fact I was still evaluating my options and they made slightly better offers with a paid research position on top of it. Some schools when they really want you will spend money for you.

I am not feeling extremely confident, I have been in email contact with Dave Halgren and he has to be vague with admissions, but he ended his email with “Try to have a nice weekend,” which sounds like I should be prepared for rejection. I emailed Dr. Lynch feeling that I may not get an interview. She said she wished she was on the Admissions committee to give me a slot, but she can’t. She said the program is EXTREMELY competitive at UCI this cycle. But she made it seem that if you didn’t get an interview you aren’t in.

Do you know if they only invited those 30? The status of my application is still only “Submitted” as they haven’t even looked at mine yet. Also is this for February 3 or 4th? Or is the combination of the two?

I haven’t been invited and had a feeling they’d start yesterday. UCI is my first choice and I know Dr. Reiter and Dr. Lynch so I’m hoping I’ll still be contacted.
