Hey everyone-- anyone willing to claim a CUNY acceptance an enlighten us as to whether it was from a POI or a standard accept email? Wondering if I'm out of the game yet or not, and see that last year CUNY notified over a couple of days via POIs. I'm hoping and praying, as I thought I had great fit...

Panicking about these CUNY acceptances that went up at the same time-- anyone willing to claim? Wondering if it is a duplicate (the person added their stats) or two simultaneous accepts (suggesting I am not getting an acceptance letter). Congrats to whoever it is!

In other news... I see another NYU acceptance by email on the board. At this point, are we assuming implied rejections (or, at least, implied not-acceptances)?

Oh my god happy birthday! But seriously get out of bed and go celebrate. It is 60 degrees where you are, and where I am it is 10 degrees. Go for a hike, or drive to a good beach for walking. You must have another friend you can hit up for dinner and drinks! Get out, you will thank yourself for it. I'm sure you have a lot to celebrate other than anticipated news. Go celebrate having taken the chance on yourself to work towards a PhD. We should all remember how much courage that takes. Happy Birthday! ?? (I hope this didn't sound preachy, I just feel emotionally invested in y'all now ❤️)

The results board has been quiet lately... too quiet.

Guys I know my heart sank when I saw this (though I'm very happy for whoever got the call). NYU was my earliest deadline so I think my Personal Statement had a really groveling/ desperate tone and my Writing Sample was in a slightly earlier version. SUPER nervous.

Claiming the UCLA waitlist just posted to the board, which was sent to me at 8:45 PCT last night. Feeling slightly validated but not really excited. The limbo is without end. Anyway, wanted to let you all know that it looks like the waitlist has gone out. Congrats to @sugilite and condolences to those who were rejected :/! Edit: If anyone knows anything about UCLA's history of waitlist acceptances, I'd be interested to know. @Warelin might have some insight?

Hi friends-- just heard from JHU admissions that I should "get a decision by next week"; I am assuming that this is for rejections as it looks like offers have already been made, but I just wanted to let everyone know that relief is coming soon. Hang in there everyone!

I've been getting the silent treatment from my contact at UPenn which is making me nervous. I think, though, that their timeline is similar to Columbia's (15th-22nd ish).

Thoughts on this morning's surprise Chicago acceptance? Do we think this is a multi-day rollout? Does anyone want to claim it? I need to kill the last shred of hope I have left, and am struggling. ? Congrats to whoever posted the Davis acceptance-- you are an inspiration. Also-- welcome to @millw. I share the same fears ?, but it is still early in the game for us. Don't count yourself out yet.

Hi dear friends. Does anyone have any news now that I see an official acceptance on the board? @FiguresIII, is that you? I think I have been rejected, as I've got nothing. We can all cry together (it is still sinking in for me). This one will hurt.

Friends-- since the implicit Chicago acceptance was posted I've been a ball of anxiety. The rest of us didn't hear back today! Oh, the agony... The creeping suspicion that this is all just an anxious lead up to a big 'ol rejection, too, is such a burden on my poor little heart. ? Edit: Minutes after sending this I went to the results page to find an acceptance with "email to check portal". Congrats to whoever received such an incredible offer! Is anyone willing to claim? Do we think that means that offers have gone out? (Me, inside: %#$*#!?%&#$%@&?!!!!!!)

@pdh12 you are the best!! Thank you, I am crossing my fingers. Stanford wasn't my favorite anyway, and I knew I didn't stand much of a chance. Staying positive. And yes, it was the applyweb portal. A button popped up that says "view admission decision".
