Did anyone get a rejection from CMU this morning? Should I be hopeful I made it through round 1 if not...? Or maybe they're just staggering their rejections over a few days.

I don't think I'd worry yet! I have friends in the program at UIC and even some priority deadline applicants didn't hear back until March so don't give up hope.

The acceptance I have so far is from UIC for the New Media program, but I applied for the priority deadline back in December. For the normal deadline I don't think you would expect to hear back until mid-Feb or even maybe early March.

You could maybe forward your U.S. number to a google voice number just to get the voicemails? Not sure if that would work.

UIC is all application only. I'm still waiting to see if I get interviews with UCLA or CMU.

Just got a call from the director of grad studies at UIC with an offer of admission for their MFA!

Same thing here. I bet it's taken down for reviews and to prevent any further submissions? Some of these application systems are older.

Anyone else applying to UCLA's Design | Media Arts MFA or UIC's new program the Arts and Responsive Computing? Applying to those two and CMU. Anyone know historically when we can expect to hear back from any of those?
