  1. I think it's perfectly fine to let two schools split the international flight, and that's actually what one of my interviews suggested. Just tell them you want them to split, and they would be happy to do that.
  2. This is a little complicated, but just want to add- my other interviews cannot share the cost
  3. I am an international student and I just received an interview invite from my dream school. However, they cannot reimburse international plane tickets, and the alternative is to conduct the interviews online. Will online interviews put me in disadvantage? The price for tickets is not super scary so I can potentially pay for it myself (they would reimburse some). Thanks for anyone answering!
  4. I am sorry but it does look like one. It contains an online form for choosing interview dates
  5. GSAS, because I thought it might be easier for intl students
  6. I am really not sure. I wouldn’t say it’s a personalized one, but it was indeed from a professor instead of staff
  7. I emailed some professors for sure and I would generally ask whether they'd want a skype talk. I only ended up with talking to two, one from Princeton and one from Brown. I am not sure whether those pre-interviews would help, but at least I got to practice my interview skills.
  8. Officially heard from POI that I didn't make it to the interview due to limited positions for international students...Hopelessly viewing the forum until suddenly I received an invitation from Chicago CompNeuro!! Finally something to live for!
  9. I have got a (in my view) pretty successful Skype talk with a POI at Princeton, but still have heard nothing...
