I've only sat one interview so far, and emailed all 5 faculty thank you messages after, of which I got really nice replies from two. My opinion is it can't hurt. Good luck with your interviews!

It turns out I DID get an invite but it was low down in my spam folder!!! So thankful you posted or I may have never scrolled down my spam!
Good luck with your interview :-) `they've been pretty generous with the interview length their giving, which will be nice for us!

I too thought that originally lol. I like to think they'll contact for interviews before Feb ends if this is the month they say their reviewing all the applications. I'm applying to painting which seems to have already sent out interviews, so that's slightly disappointing ??

Does anyone know if applicants email to thank the faculty after an interview? Totally unsure about the usual etiquette and of course I can always find a new thing to worry about lol

Thanks for the feedback! I'm from NI so if I get into one of my programmes I am planning to ask the Irish art advocacy organisation we have (VIA) or arts council what they might be able recommend, will keep you informed :-)

Hello, a bit unrelated to this thread, but i'm also from the UK and curious do you know what sources help give funding for students going abroad? Traditional student finance apparently doesn't support foreign studies and kinda concerned about what to do if I get admitted :/

Has anyone had experience with this situation before? UARK did contact me a week ago bc they didn't have my official transcript there too and was told my application was forwarded to the appropriate dept after they received it. Now it's Rutgers. *sigh*
Mine also says it hasn't received one of the recommendations, but I got all three automated emails after they were submitted, tbh I don't think it's anything to worry about. I emailed during the week and got told everything was complete, so I'd say if you're missing something they'd have emailed :-D

it was from the grad help email, there seems to be a problem with my transcripts and I think thats the reason I was directed there. I still assume they will contact everyone via email before we need to use the check my status portal

Is anyone interviewing for Tyler (painting)/ meeting current students this coming Saturday? I've a Skype interview (international applicant), really nervous about it being a video call!
Also any Rutgers applicants - got an email about checking my status on their applicant status page - have done so but it says no decision - I assume we will be rejected or invited to interview via email first? nervous incase I don't check the status page and miss an interview invite!
