Sure! I graduated undergrad from UNC in 2019 with a B.S. in Psych and Anthropology, 3.85 GPA, 2 years of experience in a research lab, and a couple internships. After graduating, I've been working at an adolescent in-patient mental health facility as a mental health tech, which I wrote about in my personal essay as the population I want to work with. I submitted my GRE scores, which were like 57% Percentile Math, 75% Percentile Reading, and 6/6 for Writing. I hope you get in!

I just got the email saying I got accepted!!!
-
The longer it is before I get an email, the less hopeful I am. Last year, I got rejected and I didn't get an email until mid-March. Not trying to bum anyone out since it's still February, but wanted to be honest.
-
Congratulations! Would you mind sharing your stats and experience?

Someone I know from undergrad just got accepted to the regular-standing, full-time program, so I guess those emails are starting to go out! It's making me even more anxious though and I just hope I hear back soon. Good luck to everyone!

Hi all! I applied to the 2-year full-time MSW program at UNCW (UNC Wilmington) starting in Fall 2020 but I have yet to hear back from them! I applied by the Priority Deadline and just wondering when other people submitted their applications and if they've heard back yet or when they expect to hear back. Good luck to everyone!
-
I would wait a couple weeks and see what happens with UNC, and then, if you don't get an email response by then, email/call again about hearing your decision sooner. March 6 is close to the end of their decision timeline anyways. You could also send another email sooner than that because this is a big deal for you and it doesn't really matter if you're bothering them because you need a response.
-
Has anyone who applied to the full-time, regular standing program heard back yet? I'm not expecting anything until next week but wanted to see if they'd started sending them out yet!

Just like your GPA, what you majored in, what kind of experience you had beforehand, GRE, etc, anything you think might have helped you get in. I'm not advanced standing so I don't know how similar their admission standards are for the regular program but it would be interesting to know! Also did they send you an email or was it updated in the portal?
-
CONGRATS! Advanced standing or regular? Mind sharing your stats?
-
I had also heard that it doubled without the GRE requirement but I wonder if the increase in applications is still factored into their 25% acceptance rate
-
Knowing that definitely just makes me more anxious lol. Did they say how many people apply to begin with?

No, I haven't heard back yet! I'm definitely checking my email obsessively and hoping for an earlier decision rather than a later one.

How many people have applied to UNC's full-time MSW program starting in Fall 2020? I applied by the priority deadline in December and haven't heard back yet, so just wondering what other people's timelines look like and if anyone has been accepted yet!

Has anyone that applied full-time heard anything lately? I'm thinking that I probably will get rejected since it's getting closer to March 15.
