Nope!

Can anyone else claim the UCI Visual Studies interview email? When I interviewed, the person I spoke with said they'd be meeting to make their final decisions last Friday, and were hoping to send out letters by the end of the month. Well, since I'm anxious and it's the end of the month....tell me something!

Thanks! Yes, I was told that there was a "long short list," and the "interview" seemed more like an opportunity for me to ask questions about the program. The person I talked to also talked to me a bit more about the specifics of my application.

That was me! Was told that they're doing some interviews with a few people, and expect to make decisions by mid-Feb.

Oh, guess I should say that last week, I interviewed (phone and Skype) with two non-AmSt programs. I asked my advisor and she was surprised about how early it was, but I guess everyone is different!

Me! Applied to UNC, BU, UMich, Minnesota in AmSt. Applied to a few other programs in a related field. Best of luck to all - and congratulations to those who got accepted already!
