Still nothing.

Just accepted my spot at NYU yesterday, and just got accepted off the waitlist at The New School. Would have been nice to have had that other acceptance to help boost my scholarship offer, but oh well! Hope someone else is looking for a spot at The New School, because it's about to open up!

My conversations have been with the department. I sent an email this morning. Thanks, folks!

Funding advice, please! I got my scholarship offer from NYU, and I asked them for more because I am a poor. They told me they'd get back to me with a new offer. It's been almost two weeks since that conversation. Should I email to nudge them, or should I hang tight for them to get in touch with the new offer?

This was my third year of applying. Zilch the first year, waitlisted at NYU the second year, and now I'm finally in at NYU. It's rough, for sure, but it's a process!

@sandringham Well, aren't you a sweetie pie! Thank you! It was basically the lighting round, because I got the email this morning and had the interview this evening! I feel pretty good about it! I came in with a few thoughtful questions about the program, and we had a nice rapport. My interviewer was very familiar with my application and had a lot of nice things to say. Such a huge difference from last year when my interview hadn't even read my application. The waiting continues!

Just got an interview with NYU! I was really starting to feel like a total reject since is this my third cycle, so I'm very relieved!

I think I'm going to have to apply with the same play I used last year. I've revised it a bit. It got me on the waiting list for NYU and I was a semi-finalist at Hunter. Am I making a mistake?

Got an email from Juilliard saying my play is still under consideration. Is this a form letter, or did anyone receive a rejection?

Contacting schools about the waiting list is a no-no, right?

Has anyone rejected their NYU spot or their place on the waiting list? I'm nosy and I want to feel hope.

Definitely push for more. It's common practice.

Does NYU assign a Net ID and University ID to all applicants? I feel like these things are new on my portal, but maybe I'm just living on hope.
