  1. Hi All, I've just received my acceptance to Westerns 1 year MSW program as well. I've already accepted my offer to UofT so I will be declining Kings. Fingers crossed for those of you on the waitlist, that's 2 positions now reopened!
  2. Hello all! I just got an email from SGS saying that a decision has been made regarding my application and I could log onto the SGS website to view my official documents! And there it was waiting for me, my official acceptance package. I experienced the huge wave of emotions all over again! That being said, I'm truly thinking of all you who haven't heard yet or may be waitlisted or rejected. I didn't get in last year, I was in your shoes but that experience only solidified my drive and passion to continue pursuing my MSW, it fueled me to seek out additional certifications as well. I know it's really hard not to beat yourself up about this, or to ruminate, but remember you are worthy and if this isn't your path right now that doesn't mean it's never going to be your path. A rejection or waitlist isn't a "no", it's a "not right now". You've got this!
  3. So many exciting things! Thinking of all my peers who are still anxiously waiting, may you hear positive news soon! I've looked through the forum from last year and I think they go in the mail today but depending on where you live, you could get it next week. My waitlist letter last year was dated Feb 20 or 21 and I only got it March 1st (I'm in Ottawa), others received theirs on Feb 23rd and they lived in downtown Toronto
  4. @Anniemsw @FK@UofT I think someone last year actually called the Grad Studies Office to ask and they indirectly confirmed that Invited means accepted. But no, Angela can't confirm
  5. Thank you! I checked it at 2:30 and it was there!
  6. I highly doubt doing your BSW part-time hurt your application, we all finish our education at an individual pace. Hang in there, the day isn't over yet!
  7. INVITED! Same thing happened with my status on Acorn though, it popped up and then disappeared after my browser timed out. I really think it has to do with the site issues they've been having today, lets all just take a breather, I think we're in the clear!
  8. CONGRATS! This is wonderful! What stream did you both apply to?
  9. I think this is a glitch, every other time I log in it says this but then it goes back to normal. Don't count yourself out just yet!
  10. This happened last year as well, ugh. I agree with Chantalilly, this might save me from refreshing the page all day but it certainly won't decrease my stress levels
  11. I'm almost positive this is a manual process so they won't all be updated at the same time. Mine says that I am not enrolled in any courses for the Winter 2019 term. I'm trying to remain hopeful that they're doing admissions 1 stream at a time
  12. Nothing for me yet either. The ANXIETY!
  13. I remember my letter being dated Feb 20 or Feb 21 but I don't think I actually got it until March 1st because that's when I sent in my slip accepting a spot on the waitlist. I'm pretty sure that Feb 20th is when people started to see the "Invited" tag on their ACORN accounts appear. I do know that acceptance and waitlist letters were sent out at the same time
