Oh oops I thought you were asking about Akron in general, not the online program. I'm not that familiar with their online program, sorry!

I interviewed there and they told us that the entire second year of classes are completely online! They presented it as a positive because it means you can move to another state or country and be placed in a setting there, but it was a negative for me because online classes are not my strong suit. However they did say if you stay in Akron the second year you have lots of resources to ask for help from professors in those online classes.

Hi to all the Ohio applicants!! I've applied to Kent State, Ohio University, Ohio State, University of Akron, University of Toledo, and Bowling Green. I was just accepted to Ohio University and Kent State but I live in Utah so I won't be able to visit all the campuses. What has everyone heard/experienced at these schools? I want to know about the student/faculty relationships, when schools typically start clinicals, and anything about the towns the schools are in! There's only so much info on the websites so I'm hoping to hear your thoughts!!
