Hello guys, this is the second time I applied to the scholarship for artistic talents. My status changed today from "selection made" to "application rejected". I didn't got an e-mail or anything, it will probably arrive later today. Even though I didn't got the scholarship, I'm still planning on going to Germany and studying a master's degree in graphic design this year. If you are awarded the scholarship that's awesome! But if you don't, life still goes on and you can achieve your dreams on a different way, don't let that discourage you! Best of luck to everyone!

So theoretically it would mean that if you're applying to the "Study Scholarship for Graduates of all Disciplines 19/20" and you receive a response from DAAD after April 4th, it would most likely be a rejection. I would assume that they send acceptances first, wait for them to respond, and then send further acceptances or rejections after the stipulated date.

Hello! I found something weird on the portal, when I click on the tab "Insurance", and the on the tab "Application", it comes up a pop-up message saying that I have already been insured by DAAD. Which is strange because I haven't been insured by them. My status is still “Selection Made”. Does this happens to you too?

I'm also applying to the same program from Colombia, last year I got the results the second week of April. So I believe we should wait a couple more weeks! Let's try to not stress about it

I applied to the scholarship for design and arts from Colombia. But I still haven’t received any answer! What’s your status?

Almost 200 people applied and only 20 received the scholarship. It's a success rate of 10%. They didn't gave me a specific reason, just that some people were scored higher.

Maybe for your country! last year I applied to the same scholarship from Colombia and got my results on the second week of april, so I believe that it will take about the same amount of time.
