I just received an email about applying for the Maryland school system scholarship that gives you instate tuition and then covers that as long as you work in the Maryland schools for three years after graduating. Does anyone know any more information about this program?

I received a letter as well. They did not mention how selective they were with the funding in the letter. Does anyone know if they have many teaching assistantships or research assistantships with funding? Even with the funding they offered it is still too expensive for me without another form of income.

@@maimas4466 I did not. I received the call when I was at work and it had a weird caller ID so I thought it was spam and declined the call. So I only know what they said to me in a 40 second voicemail and wasn't able to ask questions. I assume in the next couple of weeks. And @Mlslp I DMed you.

Congrats! I was actually wondering the same thing about! In my phone call they mentioned a letter that would be coming soon with more information so maybe it would be in that, but I'm not positive.

@Laurenf131 Do you know if they offer Graduate Assistantships to admitted students or do you apply once you have decided to attend the University? Right now the cost for out of state is a big barrier for me deciding to go there and I just wanted to know a little more about that. Thanks! ?
