Any American applicants/students who can shed light if our Erasmus Mundus stipends will be taxed by the US?
Take a look at this: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/foreign-earned-income-exclusion
I strongly believe that it is exempt, given the relatively low amount. With travel assistance, I bet it would be below 20,000 EUR per year.

Hello!
Is there anyone who has applied to IMAESC?
I was informed today that I am nominated for scholarship.
Great to hear! I Got into EUROSUD and am likely to accept the scholarship. We'll probably see each other in Glasgow!

Sorry, i wasn't super clear.
This is what I mean - first paragraph of my EUROSUD acceptance letter:
"On behalf of our Erasmus Mundus International Master in South European Studies (EUROSUD) Consortium, I am very pleased to inform you that we have nominated you to the European Commission’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) to receive an Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus EMJMD Partner Country scholarship for the duration of the two-year International Master in South European Studies (EUROSUD) joint degree programme, commencing in September 2019. Official confirmation of the scholarship will follow after we receive formal notification of the award from the Agency, expected by the end of May, but we wanted to let you know on behalf of the Scholarship Selection Committee at this stage to help with your planning."

What does "conditional to the EACEA council" actually entail? Does anyone know of any cases when the scholarship was ever turned down by them?

I would be happy to share after the application season is over. Before then I am a bit wary of making so much information public. We need to remember that all these notices are conditional to the EACEA council.

@DerÜbermensch Anything new on your end for EPS? Where did you see the results on the portal? Thanks for your help!
I have the same question. I see the "Registered by the International Student Office" rubric right by the the rubber stamp image.

hey guys
This is the email that i got from admission office , i have asked them how EACEA evaluate us.
The final decision from the EACEA will only come around mid-May.
As soon as we will get their green light we will contact you and we will send you all pertinent information.
The grants for this year are more or less 20.
The applications have already been assessed thoroughly and the EACEA will only give agreement.
Which program is this in regards to?

I am a partner country applicant for all of them.

Nothing from EMMIR, also waiting....

Has anyone heard from EPS today? It is almost 6pm in Glasgow and in my acceptance e-mail they said they would have sent scholarship award e-mails by today. However, the website says that would be done by April 5.

Did you apply to the EUROSUD program as a scholarship student or as a self funded student? I am waiting for the EPS and EUROSUD results as well. Good Luck!
I applied to all of them as a scholarship student.
Oh gosh.... It is already April 3rd and no answer from any of the programs I applied for. Have any of you heard anything?

Congrats on both scholarships to MITRA and IMCEERES. Met a MITRA graduate last summer and she had a blast. I was very interested in MITRA but my French is negligible, so I didn't apply.
Going by last year's threat, my guest is that we will need to wait until the second week of April to hear from EMMIR, at least.

I applied for EPS, EUROSUD and EMMIR. So far have heard from EUROSUD only. I got an acceptance e-mail from EUROSUD one week after applying in late February. So far, I haven't heard about any other program. EMMIR is my first choice, but let's see how things go. Anyone else applying to one of these programs?

I am from a partner country. I was able to submit utility bills and a couple of car-related docs that had both dates and my address. They already accepted it.
I recommend you try calling them. They had been closed in the start of the week because of a University scheduled break, as far as I understand. They were open today.
