Hi Everyone! I am new to the Grad Cafe so I haven't read through everything yet but wanted to introduce myself. I received my offer for SLP at UBC for September 2020 and was wondering if anyone else is going to be attending? Hopefully it doesn't start out all virtual but who knows right now! Hi, I'm a current UBC student. The audiology program is small, they only have 12 spots and receive a lot less applications. I'm not sure what the specific numbers for SLP applicants are, but the majority of applications are for SLP, so the estimate applicant number would be higher than 50:50. My guess is closer to 90:10 or 80:20 ish

Waitlisted at UBC on Thursday, got an offer on Monday! I'm ecstatic! I have accepted, which will open up spots at Toronto and Western, as well as a spot on the waitlist at UAlberta and Dalhousie. (also posted on declining offers thread).  Good luck to you all and whoever is also attending UBC, see you soon! ?

Just got my offer from UBC as well! Also accepted at UofA and UOttawa, so I will be declining two of those for any hopeful waitlisters. Now just to decide where I want to go!
