  1. I just completed this program and it was a great experience compared to other programs out there! Aural Rehab was one of my favorites! Dr. Hall is great and her lectures are very informative. I did not read the textbook much because I got a lot of info from her lectures & videos honestly but skimming through the textbook won't hurt either. I took this as an 8 week class because it was not one my difficult classes. My advice is to purchase a planner (if you don't have one already) and write out all of your assignments & due dates and that's the easiest way that I was able to stay on track while working full-time.
  2. I am finishing up the second bachelor’s program at ENMU and honestly I love it! You have the option to take some of the classes in an 8 week or 16 week format. My advisor was great and very honest about which courses would be more manageable in either 8 or 16 weeks. In took me about a year and a half because I took a semester off. The only thing about getting a second bachelors is that if you have plans on trying to become a SLPA you’ll still have to enroll in a clinical fieldwork program afterwards to obtain the clinical hours which will run you a lot $4,000- $5,000. My suggestion would be to enroll into one of the SLPA programs at a community college, which is about 2 years long, if you really wanna become a SLPA first however, if your ultimate goal is to become an SLP and you feel as if you can skip over becoming a SLPA then the second bachelor’s degree is a better option for that.
  3. No, most of the school's websites will say that completing a post-bacc program does not guarantee admissions into the master's program. Northridge is the only online program that I know of thus far that will automatically accept you into their online masters program if you complete their online post-bacc program. I took the post-bacc program through San Marcos and it was biggest regret of my life. The professors aren't very supportive and personally it was a waste of money for me. I am currently in the second bachelor's program through ENMU and its been great, so that might be an option you can look into as well. I personally feel like if I need to take all of the prereq courses, I might as well take a few more classes and earn a second degree vs. a certificate of completion, but to each its own. However, I know that Baylor, Emerson, and NYU have fully online master's programs that will offer you the prereqs as apart of your graduate study. Best of luck to you on your journey!
