  1. click on "results search" at the top of this page.
  2. I would suggest getting involved with AmeriCorps. They have many criminal justice/re-entry programs. Here's one that I found quickly. https://my1.americorps.gov/mp/listing/viewListing.do;jsessionid=c0a8060e30d752a26a8c5b904deb9b9fcbe5147c0e3a.e3uLc3qRa3yOe34PbxaSc3iTbNr0n6jAmljGr5XDqQLvpAe?fromSearch=true&id=1341&SID=c0a8060f30d61b3715c2bdf44db5ae099e6b42904443 AmeriCorps is also highly regarded among many schools, providing an education award that many universities will match. Look into it, especially if you have time before applying to grad school. Good luck!
  3. I had the same thing happen to me, with the funding changed from yes to no. I contacted admissions a few weeks back when I first noticed this. They say they are aware of the problem, and will be considering people who submitted the application on time. Apparently it was a computer glitch. So don't worry about that being a sign of rejection.
  4. Hmm...I didnt get an e-mail. Not looking good. Congrats to everyone who did get in!!! Has anyone been rejected yet? Looks like only acceptances have been posted on the results page.
  5. someone posted an acceptance!!! I guess they have started contacting people again...*sigh*
  6. this is cruel and unusual punishment. i am sick of waiting. this is the only school i havent heard from yet. I have to tell other schools by April 15th. I hope I hear something before then. *sigh*
  7. I am having the same issue. Ive been accepted to two schools, UC Irvine in Orange County, California...and New School Milano, in NYC. I love love love NYC, and am not too fond of Orange County, but the school in Orange County is much higher ranked than the school in NYC. I am still waiting to hear from NYU, which would complicate this even more, but right now I am leaning towards UC Irvine. I figure, after I graduate I can move anywhere I like...and hopefully be able to get whatever job I desire. I figure a better school will help this process.
  8. Anyone heard anything new from Wagner? At least we've gotta hear something this week, right?
  9. I am currently reading a book called "The Paradox of Choice". Check it out. Its all about how having too many choices "robs us of satisfaction." Its interesting. I started the book not even realizing how relevant it was to grad school. I guess I am lucky I only have one acceptance so far. haha. Just remember, the experience you have is what you make of it. So don't worry too much about it.
  10. I emailed Wagner, and they wrote back saying this: "We appreciate your interest in NYU Wagner. The review committee is currently in the process of assessing the status of our prospective applicants. You will be notified of your status as the committee reaches the decision by March 31st or approximately 8
  11. E-mail. I think they are still waiting for the postal acceptance though. Check the results page.
  12. I havent heard anything either. Im not taking that as a very good sign. But you never know. grad school admissions work in mysterious ways. *sigh*
  13. For those who are also still waiting, I was informed that they are still reviewing applications. I guess the first wave of accepts were the really qualified candidates. Once those applicants start to reply, Wagner will get an indication of how many more than can accept, and then the next wave will come. Rejects will probably go out last...but seriously, all this waiting sucks.
  14. I really wish they would hurry up and notify everyone! I feel like I am going to be rejected...but it would be nice to just have a definitive no, rather than this strange middle place. I really wanted to go to school in NYC. *sigh*
  15. Oh, does your acceptance show up on the apply yourself website? Thanks!
