Hey all! I had an interview on Friday and also interview at Nova on Monday. At the first interview, someone was talking about a social for nova on Sunday night. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I got no info about it and now I’m panicking that something went wrong with a second Email containing the details. The only info I got was the initial invite email and the event rsvp/ description on the portal. So long story short, please help lol did you also receive little info for novas interview day or is the info that didn’t get to me. THANKS! -

Hi all- question for you. What are guidelines when asking schools for updates? Huge no or acceptable? Also if you do, do you ask generally about their timeline for interview invites or should you ask specifically about checking in on the status of your app? Long story short- I love this program. I felt like I knocked their app out of the park and one of my LOR writers said it was "crystal clear" that I'd be a good match. I haven't heard anything. I'm panicking and the interview date is approaching in the next few weeks. Should I just let things fall where they may and not send an email. HELP! and thanks in advance. -

Anyone else day dream regularly of what it will be like if/when they get accepted!? The suspense is killing me. I don't even have all my apps in yet, the last batch is due around 1/6. Hoping to finish up soon, so I can anxiously wait in peace lol -

Ditto definitely not a huge fan. Widener's app is due on Saturday, so in my brain I was like "okay smooth things out have it in by friday." Then when I saw four weeks I panicked. If they recommend 4 weeks, that doesn't really bode well for the program working effectively right?? lol -

On the psycas portal it recommends uploading applications 4 weeks before the deadline. I was planning to submit things in the few days before the cutoff. I'm wondering why this is listed as a recommendation, and what people's experiences have been with psycas. Running into issues, positive experiences, anything really. Thank you! -

Hey there everyone! I fell into the trap of making my personal statement "perfect" and couldn't bring myself to submit apps sooner. I plan on finalizing everything tomorrow. However, I just re-noticed that UIndy asks for a document upload of your gre scores. I've sent my official scores via ets, which I confirmed have been received, but I'm confused what I should be uploading. This is when waiting until the last minute breaks down, and I cant call lol If anyone knows and could fill me in it would be greatly appreciated! -
Hi all! Procrastinator / perfectionist here. applying to PsyD programs. I’m still polishing my personal statement and I’m wondering how close is too close to the deadline to submit? Are there any benefits to submitting early? Do the schools see you submitted three days before and negatively view your time management? Should you be giving a grace period to make sure everything is properly received and calling to check in with admissions offices? This is my first admissions cycle and my nerves about having things perfect are through the roof!
