OKAY OMG UPDATE: THE APPLICATION JUST CHANGED I GOT ACCEPTED TO CU !!!!

WHAT NO WAY STOP IT IM SO EAGER BUT THERES NO UPDATE ON THE PORTAL

Ah I just checked my CU portal and for a while it's had everything as received but now it has a red X saying that it's awaiting a final transcript from my university. Does anyone know if this means anything?

She said that we shouldn’t get too worked up about the details and that she knows some of us worry based on the day they come out but she said that honestly it depends on the mood of the reviewer whether they release them as they go or group them together and send them at the same time! She also said that it might be closer to around the end of business hours when they are released but they don’t specifically time them that way so it could really be any time!

I just called Columbia to ask some questions about my application and the lady was so so sweet. She said that for anyone who applied early, they are working to get decisions out by the end of January - fingers crossed we’ll hear back within the next week or so!

I also have a quick question that I figured I'd ask here before I email Columbia admissions: if we are accepted for a particular concentration/specialization, are we able to switch tracks following acceptance?

No information on financial aid yet - hopefully that comes out soon though and I will update again when it does (A girl is poor and cannot afford full tuition haha)! I really want to be in the New York area so I’m still waiting on Columbia and then I think I’m going to go for a weekend and visit both schools again before I make a final decision. You’ll definitely hear back soon!

I applied on December 6th but my application wasn’t marked as complete until around December 23rd when my last recommendation letter was submitted!

Hi! Haven’t really posted in here but just wanted to share that this morning I woke up to an email from NYU saying that there had been a status update on my application page and received an acceptance to the regular 2 year program! I am so excited and hope more of us receive the same good news today as well!

Hi all, For anyone who has already been accepted to NYU, how long after the Application Completion Status email did you receive a decision?
