Does anyone know if IUPUI has sent out mass interview emails or just individual ones from POI? Wondering if I should hold out hope ?‍♀️

Would the posters with interviews at Vanderbilt and IUPUI mind posting their POI post initials if they’re on here? And if they were personal or mass emails? Thank you and happy holidays to everyone!

This just happened to me. I got interviews at 2 places (one Tuesday and one today) who have the same dates. I accepted the first one when it came and had to request an alternate day for the second because I’d already committed to the first. My gut feeling is to accept whenever someone invites you if you want to go; I wouldn’t ask about alternate dates right out the gate without a previously confirmed interview date unless that’s one of your lower choices. I’d worry it conveys that they’re not important to you. Just my thought process though!

Welcome to the process! Each school does things differently, so don't take it as a sign that you won't get an interview if you haven't yet! It's still very early, and many of these schools had deadlines before 12/1 so they began evaluating apps sooner. Some also have rolling admissions, so you could get an interview earlier than normal if you submitted your app early. Also, it's not necessarily the case that every school has phone/online interviews before in-person ones. Because Clinical Psych is one of the only psych fields that generally doesn't pay for their interviewees to go to interview days, many programs are starting to do phone interviews to weed out the B team before inviting their first picks to interview. Saves on time and money for us! But not all schools do that. If you haven't heard back yet, try not to worry; it really is very early! I applied to 10 programs and only 2 have invited me for interviews. You have lots of time! After the holidays I'm sure they'll come rolling in. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions! Hi all! I'm new to GradCafe so this forum was exciting to find! I'm American and have no experience with Canadian programs, so was wondering if anyone would have any feedback on my chances. I applied to the Clinical Psychology PhD program at Dalhousie. I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and my GPA and GRE scores are pretty good (3.94 GPA, 160 Verbal, 5.0 Writing, 149 Quant [which I know is not ideal]). I have lots of poster presentations and research experience though, and published my Masters thesis. I'm currently a research coordinator at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. I'm just not sure if these things will make up for my Quant score... Also, when do people usually hear back from Canadian programs? Do people get accepted in January/February, or earlier? Just not at all sure how this usually works. Thanks for any help you can give! :)
