I'm going and visiting NYU and Columbia this week and am kind of just hoping for a gut feeling.

These are my schools to decide between, too! I have Penn on the table as well but I'm not sure they can give me what I'm looking for.

Has anyone who applied to CU on Dec 1 or before still not heard back or is it just me? Have you made contact recently? I'm just trying to decide if I should reach out again even if it doesn't speed the process up. It's my top choice and I am dying not knowing.

Just got accepted to the second degree program I applied to at Denver for my dual. They couldn't offer me any $$$ though so big bummer.

All of it is really all over the place. Some heard back like a month and a half after, some are waiting for 3 months or more.

Hmm. I'll email in to some people a few days before I visit and see what I can work out.

That seems to be the standard, which is sort of a bummer. I guess I'll do that ?

Has anyone scheduled a visit with Penn? I can't figure it out on the website how I would do it.

Should I email the contact in the department for financial aid reconsideration? it just hit me that the FA office definitely has nothing to do with scholarships.

Who did you contact to start the negotiation process?

My gal asked me about what I really wanted to do with my future, whether I thought I'd be more macro or clinical. Told me a little about the school. Asked what type of field placement I'd be interested in and what skills I thought I could bring that would be an asset to the community. Then pretty much answered any questions I had. Maybe 45 minutes.
