This is likely a dumb question, but how do I read the publications of my PI without paying for it? I'm a recent graduate, so I don't have access to the database I did in undergrad.

I'm on the exact same boat. I'm going in to talk with my mentor next week to think concretely about a Plan B since I've been getting so many rejections--something I knew I might have to do, but didn't really consider it. Similarly, I've gotten only one interview so far. As disheartening as it is, maybe we can think of it this way: we're able to spend all of our time focusing on nailing this one interview (researching our PI's, coming up with great questions for why we're interested in this specific program, etc.). If this one school is my only avenue to grad school this year, I'm going to spend the next few weeks really understanding and falling in love with their program so that the interview can be as genuine and successful as it can be.

Not at all certain whether this is the correct place to post this, but I'll ask anyway. Has anyone submitted their abstract to present at SWPA? If so, when should we hear back on whether we got in?

Same please! Also, does not receiving an email today definitely mean we got rejected?

Would the poster on the results page from the University of Washington PM me the PI they received an email from?

Does anyone know when University of Memphis sends out interviews? So anxious about this one!

Has anyone heard back from University of Memphis? I've received an email from my POI last month but haven't gotten anything since. I know their interview date is 2/7 so I'm assuming invites should be going out relatively soon, if they haven't already.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but when given the chance to stay with a graduate student or a hotel, is the former better than the latter? I'd like to get to know the current students, but I also know that I'll have a chance to do so during interview day. Also, I think I'd be more comfortable staying at a hotel the night before to get my bearings together. But I don't want to look unfriendly by declining a place to stay. (Yes, I'm very aware I'm thinking too much about this)

Saw some posts on the admission results page about a couple of people receiving interviews from the University of Missouri. The location isn't specified, which is leading me to assume it's the school in Columbia. However they received invites on entirely different dates, which confuses me. So if anyone has info on whether all interviews have been extended, that would be great.
