Hello Simo, Does it mean that those who have not their funding period changed should lose their hope and are already failed? Mine has not changed, while that of a co-applicant has already changed?

Hi, I also applied from Iran. Today I noticed something in my DAAD profile that I thought maybe has a positive meaning. When I enter in "personal funding" section and go to "application" part, I see a big green thick in front of "funding programme" section. When I take the cursor upon the tick it says successful. Is your profile the same?

Hi, Where did you get that information? i don't think that more than half of the applicants were eliminated in the first round. Anyway, i try to reach them out as soon as possible and then share with you the information.

Maybe we should call the DAAD center in Tehran and check which account is closer to the reality. For now I just hope that your account of the story prevails.

I am also Iranian. I applied for PhD and my major is international law, how about you? I heard from a friend that 60 applicants got through the first round and were chosen for the interview, among them 15 individuals will receive the scholarship, so let's hope for the best.

I think your status is quite natural since your interview was 20 days latter than my interview. So do not worry, I think this status does not have any particular meaning other than the advancement of the process. My interview was face-to-face.

I applied for PhD scholarship, and after giving the interview on 15th October, today my application status turned from paper copies received to pre-selection made. does anyone have any experience in this regard? what are my chances of getting the scholarship after receiving such status?
