  1. Ah, they must be sending them out in waves then. I assume I've been rejected. Best of luck to you both!
  2. Anyone else NOT received a rejection from NYU yet?
  3. Since this is the second time I've been mistakingly tagged... @histosci wrote the post, not me ( @Sigaba also tagged me and meant to tag them- it's a very similar username).
  4. I interviewed with NYU and haven't heard anything (waitlist or acceptance) and am assuming rejection! I imagine they choose acceptances from the interviewed pool but who knows.
  5. Not me! I like your username
  6. Also rejected from Brown, and nothing from NYU! Congrats to those admitted!
  7. I had an interview with NYU. Still haven't heard anything!
  8. I'm still waiting on Columbia, too! *obsessively checks SPAM folder* I don't expect to get in but the wait is killing me. Edit: Rejection is posted to the portal! No email.
  9. Yes, I believe so! If you look at some of the other programs, it's much smaller.
  10. In case anyone hasn't seen this, Yale has a great data viz tool for looking at acceptance rates and other stats: https://public.tableau.com/profile/ecf5839#!/vizhome/YaleGraduateSchoolofArtsandSciencesStatisticsWebNoBBS/Admissions
  11. Nothing! I'm sort of assuming I won't hear back until next week or the following. (I applied to AmSt at Harvard and NYU). I think NYU did a second round of interviews this week.
  12. Congrats on the interviews and acceptances!
  13. Anyone want to claim the Penn interview?
  14. They didn't ask specifically about faculty. They were more asking about fit (why their program, as they asked you) and how I wanted to expand on my research. My discipline is history of science, with an interdisciplinary bent. It sounds like they asked us the same questions!
