whether undergraduate have little opportunity to be admitted in sociology phd program? these days I am so hopeless... is it common that people get master degree first?, will the master degree be helpful in application? Maybe I need to apply to some master programs...

I apply to UNIVERSITY of WISCONSIN–MADISON MA gender and women's studies. I find that there is one offer in Gradcafe(just one) 12 days ago. SO is there anyone receive decisions from this programs? I think maybe I should not keep any hope for this program...

I don't apply this program, but I find that there are some offers in Gradcafe about this program. I guess the are releasing decisions just these days.

I apply 17 programs, too... the majority of my application is for sociology programs it is stressful time... and my situation become better when I received an offer from a program(not sociology but computer science) although it is my least choice. Hope Jan can bring some good news.

I also apply to UCB sociology phd for 2020fall. waiting is the theme of my life now.
