Hey there. I was invited to the finalist weekend, which I gather from other posts is really more of a "welcome" weekend. I have my flights booked I also visited their open house last year. There is a lot of good work comming out of there... definitely feel like it is a rising star. More than anything I would prioritize the connection with your Professor of Interest and the work being done there. For this reason I am very seriously still considering it although I also got an interview with the University of Michigan and was admitted to UCI. Will you be attending in February?

Somebody posted a REJECTION from University of Michigan! HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD ANYTHING? I am still waiting.

Yes. Seems like it's always been on the end of the full third week. Last two years, Thursday of the third week. So that means Thurs the 16th or Friday the 17th. ? Did you apply to Penn? I believe they have the same timeline. I got interviews from my 5th and 4th choices already. I'm waiting on U of M, Penn, and HGSE.
