Thanks so much! I just graduated in 2018, majored in psychology and minored in sociology, GPA was just about average (3.46). I’m in the reserves and wrote about my interest in serving military families. I do have have a lot of hospital volunteer experience but I was honestly so worried it wasn’t “enough”. Best of luck to you all!
I haven't heard back either! I had a mini heart attack yesterday because I saw I had an email from the UNC School of Social Work but turns out it was just the February 2020 newsletter lol. Fun times. Hoping we all hear our decisions soon, I know this wait is really rough!
It's honestly a relief to know I'm not the only one who is really struggling with this wait #solidarity. I don't think I've ever been this obsessive about checking my email before. It's so hard to be patient but I know that thinking about it all the time is only making the wait worse. Spending time with my husband and talking to friends/family has helped me! It's also helped to plan and think positive thoughts about my other options for school/work just in case I don't get the news I'm hoping for from UNC. Happy Valentine's Day, wishing you all a happy weekend!
Also, recently read this article on appreciating those "in-between" moments like this in life and I thought it was inspiring: https://www.elephantjournal.com/2016/09/when-you-find-yourself-a-little-lost-in-the-in-between/
Hi! I'm a regular two-year full-time applicant and I'm already sooo anxious to hear back. Best of luck to all of you, hope you hear good news very soon!
