  1. Has anyone heard anything from American University?
  2. From last year it looks like acceptances should go out any day now. Good luck!!
  3. Are there any people with the CUNY interviews around the forums? I haven't heard anything, so I can only assume that's another rejection. This one is tough to swallow as there's 6 or so faculty members I saw as good fits.
  4. Aussie here still waiting on decisions for 4 unis (rejected from 2). Wait is driving me nuts especially since I really look forward to packing up my life and moving to the more exciting hemisphere
  5. Anyone heard anything from CUNY, Brandeis, GWU, or American? I haven't seen anything posted on the results page yet, but thought I'd ask here just in case.
  6. @BalkanItinerant my guess is everyone gets the standard copy and paste letter. Mine said the same things. That said, I'm sure it's not a lie - there would have been so many outstanding candidates, but it's Columbia and acceptance rates are so low.
  7. Hi everyone! I'm late to the party but I've also been trying to avoid Grad Cafe as much as possible. But as it is now crunch time my anxiety is going to kill me! I'm an international applicant (Australian) and have a MA from an Israeli university. Main fields are Jewish and International/Global history. Really hoping I get at least an offer. Already rejected from NYU - was not surprised about that, knew in my heart of hearts I wasn't a good fit but it has ramped my anxiety up big time. Still waiting on Columbia, CUNY, American University, George Washington and Brandeis. Like a few others here I am wondering what the deal is with Columbia for those who have already been rejected and accepted. Thanks to those who've shared supportive words and self-care tips. Looking forward to checking out that NPR ep, @OmniscienceQuest. Good luck everyone, and congrats to those already accepted.
