I have zero quant background - last math I did was in high school and the methods course in my undergrad. I was still accepted to a top 5 program.
I'd definitely get some quant in if you can, but otherwise you can still be competitive.
Got a super strange acceptance from Columbia just now. Email was "decision letter available" via portal implying a rejection but it was in fact an acceptance. Odd.
Nothing from department.
Shouldn't they feel confident that the people they've admitted to their five year plus program are committed to doing their best without the threat of pulling their funding if they drop below an A- average?
Have any Princeton admits heard from POIs? The only communication I've had with them has been from DGS and to coordinate the visit and am getting antsy.
Late to the party but I just discovered this site - Don't know if it's making my stress better or worse. So far: 3a/1r/0w/6p
Not looking good for UChicago. Also wondering if anyone on IR track has been accepted.
