  1. I applied and haven't heard a peep either. I have a really great fit and thought I had a decent shot, so we'll see. As with all the rest of the programs I applied to this cycle, UCSB doesn't seem to be following their usual pattern for decisions.
  2. Me too. And it's weird because it seems like a lot of programs aren't following previous patterns, so it's making me check even more often. Totally thought I got rejected from Rutgers after having a decent interview, then got accepted (well, waitlisted for funding) three days after everyone else started hearing back.
  3. I haven't applied to Pittsburgh, so I can't tell you with 100% certainty. It also looks like there aren't a lot of results posted for Pitt, so I can't speculate, sorry!
  4. Michigan and Cornell usually release results in mid to late February and don't interview so you probably won't hear back from them until then. Notre Dame (usually) sends out interview invites in early February, but a lot of programs have been running behind their normal schedules based on results from previous cycles.
  5. It's a mixed bag with offers, honestly. Sometimes the information on funding comes with the acceptance, sometimes you get an informal offer from the department and then the "official" offer later from the grad school. Since you didn't get the funding info in your initial offer, you'll likely get a follow up within a week or two with more information. Congratulations!!
  6. I would really like for programs to just start putting me out of my misery ASAP.
  7. That's awesome, congratulations! If you don't mind, what are your research interests?
  8. For our sakes, I'm hoping for the former, and we just haven't gotten ours yet!
  9. Just saw someone post an Indiana admit, was it anyone here?
  10. I'm in the same boat on Rutgers, so I feel you. I don't have a definitive answer, but the interviewer said I would hear back in two to three weeks, so I'm expecting (hoping) we'll get decisions by this Friday.
  11. That's so awesome!! I'm also a current PhD student re-applying to programs with better fits and still waiting for my first decision ?
  12. That's amazing!!! Congratulations!! Which schools?
  13. Not Brandeis, but Yale interviewed 25 top applicants over the past few weeks and will be sending out results this week or next (according to someone in comments on a results post).
  14. When I applied during the 2021 Cycle they released rejections and acceptances all at once on back-to-back days.
  15. congratulations to any and all UT Austin, Wisconsin, and Minnesota admits today!
  16. I feel like all bets are off for when to expect results this cycle, which is really really messing with my slightly-OCD mind. Hope everyone here is staying sane and (mostly) distracted!
  17. Based on previous years results, I'm expecting for them to begin releasing decisions in mid-February. Keep in mind, however, that a lot of programs seem to be running a bit behind their "normal" schedule compared to past cycles.
  18. I was contacted to set up an interview on Tuesday and had it yesterday where I was told that they were interviewing 20 people for a small cohort and to expect to hear back by mid-February.
  19. There were 20 people interviewed for 6 to 7 spots, so I'm going to assume there might be a couple rejections, but mostly acceptances and waitlists.
  20. In previous years UCLA has done admissions on a rolling basis. I definitely can't guarantee that that's what they're doing this cycle, but I do remember someone in 2021 posting a quote from a professor who said they meet weekly and admit in batches until they have sent out all of the offers they plan to.
  21. Based on results from previous years, Chicago only does one round of interviews and admits/waitlists based off of who they interview.
  22. When I applied in the 2021 cycle Ohio State sent out all acceptances at once one week, then all of the rejections at once the next.
  23. It's hard to know with 100% certainty, but it seems like most departments that do conduct interviews will also only accept/waitlist individuals who they interviewed. In previous years Chicago has sent out interview requests one week, rejections the next, and acceptances/waitlists the one after.
  24. I actually just checked my University of Chicago application portal and had a status update that I'll be receiving an invitation soon.
  25. I don't think they have to send them out this month, unless I missed something on their website that said that? There's definitely no hard cutoffs on when interview requests have to be sent out that I've seen.
