Anyone here apply to WashU's Illustration program?

Hello! So, first off, I only applied to two universities this cycle. It was all I could afford. I didn't get into one, but I got into another that is higher ranked. Previously, I was set out to attend my undergraduate institute, where I was fully funded, but opted out as it was a last minute decision (on my part) and I want a terminal degree. I don't have anything to leverage against the university I was admitted to, not outside of my academic merit and potentially my minority status. I would love to attend, but I cannot afford it. I would love to work at the university in some capacity while attending, but I'm not sure that's a possibility. If anyone could provide me some advice or maybe point me in whatever direction I should go to approach this, I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you. : )

For the folks that applied and were accepted to WashU/WUSTL, what program did you apply to? I've been on the edge of my seat waiting to hear about the Illustration/Visual Culture program. I've had a few correspondences, but nothing major of concrete. I was told I would likely hear something this coming week. Congratulations to everyone!
