Absolutely true. Georgetown has not given any financial aid to me, hence, appealing for reconsideration. In case granted, I am leaning towards that program (given my status as an international student). In case not granted, then the dilemma is resolved and opting for Syracuse. Meanwhile waiting for other universities and got rejection from Harris MSCAPP. Given consent for consideration for MPP.

Acceptance update. Today I received acceptances from Georgetown University and Indiana University, Bloomginton. Awaiting funding letter from all the universities as of date. I am in a tough spot choosing between Syracuse Maxwell and McCourt Georgetown. As an international student, attending Georgetown will give me the benefit of STEM program, however I am confused if I should choose that over the quality and ranking of Maxwell School. Requesting all the forum members to help me on this.

Thanks for addressing my query @GradSchoolGrad. Apart from the location, do you see any other problems? I don't have problem with the remote location and extreme weather conditions. I want to know about the school's industrial reputation and career outcomes of graduates (if aware of).

Hi All, I have got acceptance from Maxwell School at Syracuse University for MPA program. But based on the replies/posts on this website, I have noticed that not many students apply to this program despite being ranked as #1 as per US News Rankings. Can someone please share their opinion as to why less number of people apply to this program in comparison to other universities. I wish to know the industrial recognition and quality of the program. In addition, how have been the employment outcomes in the past (if aware of). Thank you.
