  1. Got into the MA, and found out today that it was full tuition + 10500 TAship. I'm taking another offer, so that funding will be open for someone... Any word, Tahuds?
  2. Declining (unfunded) offers from Aberdeen and Durham (NT PhD), and a funding-to-be-determined offer (MA) from UGA. Going to Wheaton (PhD NT, tuition + stipend). Really a very tough decision between Durham and Wheaton, since both prospective supervisors were very, very gracious and since both programs really were a good fit in different ways. But we really loved Wheaton, and funding those UK programs is very difficult!
  3. I applied November 4th and my acceptance letter was dated December 23, but my app page still hasn't been updated. Still no word on funding. Anyone else?
  4. Thanks! I didn't get that email for some reason... I didn't apply to Baylor because their NT faculty (though excellent) didn't seem to have research interests close enough to mine for me to think I'd have a realistic shot, especially since I got no response either from admissions or the department (probably an oversight, I'm sure). Also, to be honest, those research proposals for the UK programs to which I applied took a lot of time and effort, and I kind of ran out of steam! All the best - I hope to see you in Wheaton in Feb!
  5. Have you heard anything from Wheaton yet? I think they had sent out interview invites by this time last year. I know it's a long shot, but...

  7. Do you know anything about funding in UGA's religion dept?
