  1. I think it would help to know what you're interested in, what schools you're deciding between, and what factors are most important to you in your decision making process. (Might be biased since I accepted my offer to join their department in Fall)
  2. Yeah, it's the joint PhD in Statistics and Public Policy. To me, CMU has the perfect blend of what I want and even though UChicago and Columbia may be higher ranked, I don't know if they offer what I want or if I'd be a good fit.
  3. @dberlind I was accepted to the CMU joint policy/stats program. From what I understand, 6 people were accepted to the program, and professors say they usually have a pretty high yield for this program. I also got into UChicago and Columbia, but I'll probably attend CMU. Best of luck though! It's possible that people would turn it down.
