  1. I'm also hoping most schools decide to keep it waived, but I have a feeling most will not if COVID starts getting better and life returns to somewhat of a norm. I applied this cycle but am planning to apply 2021 as well, I'll be prepping to take the GRE for next cycle regardless.
  2. Hi everyone, I applied to a couple of schools for the Fall 2021 cycle, however, as I don't expect to get in anywhere, I'm preparing to apply next year as well. My research interests are in minority mental health, culturally informed practice, mental health disparities among minority populations, culturally responsive evidence based practice, multiculturalism, African-American populations, Asian or South Asian populations, and other topics relating to race, culture, and ethnicity. Does anyone know of any schools with faculty that's actually diverse, or programs with faculty who have these research interests? I have a few schools already, but am looking to add more to my list and haven't had too much luck finding programs/faculty (outside of the ones I have already have information for) with departments that are diverse or that work on research issues that involve race and culture. Schools I am planning to apply to: - University of Minnesota - University of Michigan - Washington University in St. Louis - Loyola University - Suffolk University - University of Massachusetts, Boston I am also planning to apply to Master's programs next cycle as well just in case I don't get into any PhD programs, so feel free to include those as well. Thanks in advance!
  3. I am also planning on applying later on this year for admittance in Fall 2021, I have been lacking on some prep for grad school but I'm realizing that it's time to get serious about it. I also had a change of plans recently where now I'm planning on staying in my city which limits my choices where before I was open and ready to apply to schools all around the country (going from a list of 11 schools to about 3-5). I still need to do a ton of prep for GRE, reach out to faculty at the schools I want to apply to, reach out for letters of recommendations, etc. I have a couple years of clinical based and research experience and am currently in a research focused job, but am still feeling like this won't be enough experience. In a month it'll be a year since I graduated undergrad, because things changed and the plans I had planned out before aren't feasible for me anymore it feels like I'm just winging it too @clinicalpsych.2020 You had mentioned working on publications, do you know any info or resources on how to publish papers? It seems harder to me now to publish a paper when I'm not actively in school or without the help of professors, etc., but I have no publications and feel like that doesn't help me at all @justacigarr My interests are aspects of psychology involving race/ethnicity, cultural competence, and assessment
