I'm currently attending Marquette's MA program. I have a teaching assistantship which offers full tuition, $13K/year stipend, and health insurance renewable after each year (all you have to do is fill out a form to get the funding renewed). There are more TAs than there are RAs here, but I'm not sure of the price difference. I think my TA class and the TA new class this year was around 13-15 students (both MA and PhD). As a TA, you teach 3 sections of RhetComp per year. If you do apply to MU, try to get it in by the funding deadline, or if you can't, contact the DGS and/or grad school to see about the funding. There are some people here who are unfunded I think but I would not recommend that route. You can send me a message (if that's how this works, this is my first post) if you want to know more about the program.
