  1. Hi peeps! Just got my Carnegie Mellon acceptance! It's for their Stage and Production Management program though so I have no info about playwriting. I interviewed with them on the 11th.
  2. Not a playwriting applicant but popping in here anyway because it's the closest related active thread I can find! I applied to Carnegie Mellon's Stage & Production Management MFA program and got an interview invite on February 1st. Had the interview last week and they said I'd hear back by mid March. I also applied to UNCSA (University of North Carolina School of the Arts) and was accepted back in November.
  3. Hello everyone! I have formed an interest in both UNCSA's new-ish Production and Project Management MFA program and CMU's Stage and Production Management MFA program. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of material out on CMU's program, I just know that in general it is a really good school. Meanwhile, UNCSA seems like it would fit me more since I'm coming from the live music industry (did NYU undergrad) and not from a BFA environment. Does anyone have insider info on comparisons between each school's MFA program quality or what type of people typically attend?
