  1. I believe it's the second link down when you Google "UT Austin MyStatus." The link prefixed with "gradschool" Mine still says "In Review" on there The UT Austin application system was designed by a lunatic
  2. Cornell rejections/waitlists, University of Arizona, Syracuse fiction, Notre Dame fiction (interviews), and Michener, to name a few. And Iowa could strike at any moment, but probably beginning this weekend.
  3. Looks like Vanderbilt may be notifying early this year (?).
  4. Some schools do call accepted students on weekends or in the evening hours, particularly those that notify over the course of a week or two (like Iowa or NYU).
  5. Has MFA Draft '26 on Facebook let any of you in recently? I have requested to join a few times, to no avail.
  6. @sweet.potatoThat's interesting. Is it a school with rolling admissions?
  7. FYI, if you're applying for the New Writers Project you should consider applying to Michener, too. Because they're both at the University of Texas at Austin, you only have to pay one application fee.
  8. Applying to MFAs for the first time (fiction). Getting my writing sample ready and looking at programs. Never published my writing before, so this may be a crapshoot. Good luck to everyone!
  9. Just got my notification! Alternate > finalist in Russian.
  10. No, not yet! Also curious about this.
  11. Nothing for Russian yet either. Congrats to the finalists who've received results already! Edit: Looks like program sites for all languages are up on the website, although they say in a press release that the majority of programs will be virtual.
  12. Exciting! I wonder if it will be virtual or if they'll try sending us abroad given the progress on vaccines (pretty confident they won't but I guess we'll see).
  13. Hi! How is everyone feeling? Submitted my application for Russian a few days ago - anyone else angling for that program?
