Has anyone heard anything from UF Counseling Psychology program?

Someone posted that they received an interview invitation. I'm assuming they aren't done extending invitations yet but we'll see.

I received two rejections this cycle and this is the first interview invitation! Don't give up on your dreams!!! School: New Mexico State University Type: Counseling Psychology Ph.D. Date of invite: 1/18/2021 Type of invite: Email from POI for formal interview Interview date(s): 2/05/2021 or 02/08/2021 DM for POI: Yes

For those of you waiting to hear back from Teachers College, Columbia U. Counseling PhD, they have not started reviewing the applications. They should be starting next week from what I was told.

Not at all but based on the results page from previous years it looks like they’ll send invitations this month for counseling.

Has anyone heard from UT Austin Counseling Psychology PhD?

Nothing yet. My portal still says in review.

Anyone heard from University of Kentucky Counseling with official interview invitations?

I can definitely relate to y’all! I feel discouraged as well with seeing all the preliminary interviews. Wondered if it is something everyone that is being considered gets or not? I go back and forth between certain things not being a big deal (eg. GPA, GRE score, first author publications) vs my experience in the field so far (eg. Starting my private practice, being licensed, research experience, etc). I can’t help but be nervous and think what I’ve don’t isn’t enough ?

Hey ya’ll! I’m curious about preliminary interviews. I know it’s different depending on the school and PI. I’m wondering what preliminary interviews are used for? For all students they want to formally invite or just a few they want to get to know better before formally inviting?
