Hey, I received interview invitation from UT - Austin for PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology just 30 mins ago.

Not sure about NYU. I did apply long before the deadline. I applied to the umbrella program at NYU - Vileck Institute. Haven’t heard back yet. I am an international applicant though!

I haven’t heard back from UPenn BGS. I submitted my application on October 27th, but still haven’t received any communication from them regarding rejection/interview! I applied to Pharmacology Graduate Group (PGG) though!

Anyone applied to UT Austin - Pharmacology and Toxicology? Any news?

Guys. Just received an interview invitation from UNC-BBSP. However, the email had landed in spam and I didn’t even notice it for 20 mins. Keep checking your spam folder too. Interview scheduled in February.

Also, the sad part is many people must be following this thread but very few are actively posting about their interviews, acceptances, and rejections which makes it very hard to get an idea about a particular school's thought process on sending invites. We need more people to actively participate!

Okay. Mine was Development, Disease Models & Therapeutics. May be they are still reviewing more apps before sending out invites for your track. Stay strong!

What track did you apply for?

I Had applied last year but they straight-out rejected me. Usually they send out the rejection emails in the 2nd week of January. However, they start sending the interview invites in December. So, if you don't see anything till December end, consider it as a reject. Also, NYU may be international-friendly for some other fields, but in terms of Vileck - Biomedical Sciences Program, it is extremely restrictive for the foreign applicants. They usually admit only 1-5% international students and the process is highly competitive.

For me, I received "You should be receiving a decision soon" email on Dec 4th and got the invitation email on Dec 8th.

I applied to UPenn PGG. Haven't heard back!

Did you apply to Toxicology?

UTSW had asked me to complete the secondary application before Dec 10th. I did so but haven’t heard back since then!

True that! Sucks to have heard nothing from any of the schools.?

How come no one here is talking about UPenn PGG (Pharmacology Graduate Group) and UNC-BBSP-Toxicology? Anyone with interview invites to above universities and the specific programs? If not, may be the review process is delayed.
