did you get the maryland invite yesterday or today?

Wanna wish everyone goodluck with whatever happens! This has been a tough week for me but I know I can't assume anything yet with what I have left. Has time just been so slow for everyone else? This process is exhausting, I almost wanna say the waiting and rejections are more mentally tasking than when I was doing the applications back in November!

was it from a specific POI or the department? Im so nervous

it doesnt seem like they usually interview, so this is definitely an unprecedented year for them i suppose

ok i def misremembered, just looked back through the thread and i was wrong about it being DGS, yall think theyre doing it individually/slowly over this week then? struggling to cope with the idea of basically 5 rejections in one week

I am so glad my advisor pushed me to take the only R in political science classes offered at my uni, now I have a small head start! Odd how its such a necessary skill these days, but my department has only just started to teach it

logged on just now to see all the berkeley/chicago/michigan acceptances go out ive got 4 more schools to go.. I only need one at least thats what my advisor tells me lol

currently an undergrad at UF, my thesis advisor said this years application pool was larger than normal and when we last met on friday they mentioned they were still deliberating but thats all I know

followed a bunch of POI on twitter back in December, two followed me back within the day and I didn't think much of it (maybe they just follow a bunch of people back, which seems plausible). TODAY, about a month and a half AFTER I followed them, one POI I followed just followed me back. Like I'm trying not to be super optimistic but like they had to go out of their way to find and follow me back at this point. I wanna see this as a very good sign but at the same time willing to accept it means nothing. Thats my day so far though, the twitter notification came up in the middle of my workout and the adrenaline/nervousness helped me finish stronger ?
