  1. My fingers are crossed for you! This was an extremely difficult cycle with the increased influx of applicants and the pandemic. I was rejected from many others.
  2. Hi! Yes, I participated in an interview day on 2/3 and received my acceptance less than 24 hours later.
  3. They ambiguously said "a week or so"...I'm just excited to hear back I guess.
  4. how long does it typically take to hear back about a decision from a program? days? weeks?
  5. SAME! I actually emailed admissions about the status of my appl on Monday. So I naturally assumed today's email was a response to that until I opened this forum and read other applicants also got the same email. Super confused! This is my #1 choice and I wish they would stop messing with my heart ?
  6. Really? I'm a little confused with this school. I was invite to a Recruitment event on the 12th where the Host mentioned their evaluation process being delayed due to an increase in applications. However, I've read a couple posts in here mentioning interviews being on the 14th/15th. I guess I'm just wondering if all invites have been extended.
  7. Georgia State? Clinical? I haven't heard back from that program either. Their site says interviews are Feb 10 & 12 so I'm still holding out hope.
  8. I have not! I've accepted an interview invitation and was only given the date. I was told the specific time and other pertinent details would be supplied "soon".
  9. I've also been considering back-ups. Since I already have my MA and already plan on getting licensed, the only thing I am uncertain about is continuing research. How do I continuing working in research labs, when I'm no longer affiliated with an institution? Do I need to reach back out to professors at my previous schools?
  10. I have not heard back from UH (Clinical) either but I know their interview day is 1/30. So I am personally assuming rejection from them.
  11. I'm sorry but this made me audibly laugh out loud! I'm right there with you!
  12. Considering my Masters was my back up the first time I applied to PhD, this round my back up would be practicing in the field (getting licensed). I'd obviously continue volunteering in my labs, too. But my fingers are still crossed!
  13. Yes! JB is my POI, as well. I didn't realize there was another. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed for a little longer, maybe!
  14. School: Mercer University Type: Clinical Psychology PsyD Date of invite: Jan 13th Type of invite: Email from admissions Interview date(s): Feb 2nd via virtual DM for POI: Sure
  15. This is my second time applying. After being rejected after my Bachelor's, I decided to complete a Master's program instead. Now that I have my Master's, if I get rejected again, I'd likely work on licensure and continuing in research labs.
  16. Hello, do you know the POI (initials) of your friend who received an invite for their Clinical program?
  17. Darn, well i guess i shouldn't keep my hopes up for that one.
