This happened to me with Laurier, Western and Waterloo coming out of my BSW. Since then, I've worked for 2 years and thought I'd give it another shot, I got in to Waterloo this time around! I think if you get rejected, it sucks but you will greatly benefit from some field experience too. Hang in there ♥️ it will all work out!

Hang in there, I was rejected while finishing my BSW. I worked for 2 years and got in to Waterloo!! So you just need that little bit, to be honest, you'll get a lot out of being able to build on your field experience and also the break from school was nice!!

Just got notified I was accepted to part time advanced standing at Waterloo. I was NOT expecting to get in but this is welcome news!!

Has anyone heard from waterloo for part time online advanced standing MSW?

Yes! My grades were on par with who they took but I'm new to the field and the average amount of experience for people who got offered admission was 10 years so I really couldn't compete.

Just got a rejection, I'm a young person so this isn't surprising, hopefully some of you have some success!

I did email the enrolment advisor and she said decisions are still on track to be sent out this week, hopefully sooner rather than later!!

Nothing for me either, this is brutal!!

People have been getting news on random days, it seems to follow no particular pattern so far, which makes it even harder to figure out!

I'm also waiting for advanced standing news, I don't know if it is alphabetical but my last name starts with S so maybe later to get my news? Not sure lol, just hopeful it comes today so I don't have to keep waiting next week.

I'm sorry to hear your news all, don't be discouraged! We are competing against some pretty amazing people! Keep trying and don't give up till you get in, that's my mantra!

I would love to know the same! At this point, I just want to know so I can have an idea of what my remaining options are. No news is the worst.

I also applied for may 2021 advanced standing, I know a lot of the people in here applied for foundations, to be honest I'd be flattered just to get on the wait list I think that's an achievement in itself given the competition we have to go up against.
