Is anyone still waiting to hear back from UCLA?? I know last Friday Luskin posted on their Instagram saying all decisions will be released by this Friday (tomorrow). Things are getting suspenseful since they're waiting until the last second... -
So far I’ve gotten into dual msw/mph programs at Columbia, Upenn, Temple, UT Austin/Health science Center. Got into Boston u msw but haven’t heard from Mph yet. Also waiting to hear back from UCLA. So far only haven’t gotten into Berkeley mph I’m in the same boat as you Im from CA too. Columbia was my top choice but they’re way too expensive. I didn’t take the GRE either!! Maybe that affected our app... really hope it doesn’t come back either lol

I just got notified too I didn’t get in either. I’m so sorry to hear you didn’t. I was more worried about not getting into the MSW program tbh. My background is more in health education and health promotion. Where else have you gotten into? Are you gonna consider going to Berkeley in the fall and applying to the sph again?

Hey I applied to the dual! On tuesday around 7:15 pm PST, I received a notification that a decision had been made. In my acceptance letter, it only mentioned the msw program though. Pretty nervous that that means I didn't get into mph program. My friend least year was notified in one acceptance that they got into the dual, but they said they know someone who was notified of the programs at different times! Really hoping that's the case. What is your situation?

Anybody else apply to dual msw/mph programs for Fall 2021? I’ve almost heard back from everywhere that I applied. What dual programs are y’all leaning towards? What do y’alls financial aid packages from the two different schools look like? I found out Mailman doesn’t send out packages because dual students start at the school of social work. My number one school was Columbia but even after the scholarship they gave me it looks like it’s gonna be too much. Really hoping I get into Berkeley because I’m from CA and they will probably be cheapest.

Ty! 3.6 GPA no GRE. BAs in psych and gender studies. Worked at undergrad LGBTQ center for 2 years doing HIV program development. 1 year experience in harm reduction work at a nonprofit as a health educator. 2 previous supervisors and 1 professor for letters of rec. best of luck!

I got in on January 13th. I received an email saying admissions made a decision and to check it on the portal. I received the email around 2:45 PST. I applied around November 22nd. I expressed interest in the advanced clinical sw practice, and the dual MPH program. Luckily got into Mailman’s population and family health department too. I don’t want to look at where I might live though until I get financial aid packages lol. I’m waiting to hear back from Boston U, UC Berkeley and UT Austin. Looks like these school don’t start releasing decisions until February though

Hey @OrangeJuice14 ty! congrats to you too. I thought I was gonna hear from other programs yesterday too lol. As far as columbia, I applied on November 19th. They sent me an email saying that their decision was ready to view on the app portal. They sent me this around 2:45 PST.

I got an interview for UPenn but haven't heard back from any other programs.

I applied Dec. 9th and haven't heard anything yet. I don't think they're gonna send anything out until after the deadline. We'll see!
