  1. Congrats, @somethingClassics! I was also interviewed (on 15th February), but I haven't heard back from them yet. I'm hoping for a waiting list and wishing you the best of luck @DiomedesVIII. Just to add my voice to the chorus, I also wish our colleague @ClassicsCandidate the best of luck this year. You have been absolutely amazing and essential in this group! I wish you find joy in everything you choose to do this year!
  2. I also saw the question about Yale Classics and a friend of mine said they had their interviews last week. But maybe they will have more interview cycles soon (I hope so!). Not sure how it usually works (maybe others can add some thoughts here), I'm an international prospective student.
  3. Thank you again, @AncientAnnie567! I applied to the Classics Department. Good luck!
  4. Thank you, @AncientAnnie567 , and congrats!!! May I ask if the interview was for the ISAW or Classics?
  5. Congrats to those who have been accepted!!! ? By any chance, does anyone have heard back from Yale, NYU or JHU? Interviews maybe?
  6. Thank you so much @ClassicsCandidate! To be honest, those questions that you described as possible questions for candidates seemed much more interesting than I could have imagined. I imagined it would be something like an "oral exam" on candidates application material.
  7. Thanks for sharing your interview experiences! It is nice to hear it is more like an informal chit-chat.
  8. I'm sorry, I personally haven't heard anything back so far. ? I was listing all the results in the results page, just to sum it up and, maybe, find out if someone could / would like to share their interview experience.
  9. So, to sum up, so far: Acceptances: 1 University Of St. Andrews (PhD); 1 University Of Illinois (PhD); 1 Princeton University (Predoctoral); University Of Colorado (Masters) Interviews: 2 Cornell University (PhD); 1 University Of Chicago (PhD); 1 University Of Illinois (PhD); 2 University Of Cambridge (Masters); 1 University Of Cambridge (PhD); 1 UCSB (PhD); UCLA (PhD); 1 University Of Colorado (Masters); 2 Princeton University (PhD) Wait listed: UC Berkeley(PhD) ***Genuinely curious: those who have been interviewed, how was your experience?
  10. Hi! Congrats to those who have had interviews or got accepted! @exhaustionandtoast I think you should still try to contact them and explain the situation.
  11. Hi y'all! Congrats, @Wafflotron, I've heard so many nice things about Colorado! Thank you@Persaefor sharing with us what a virtual recruitment is, it sounds super interesting! And thank you all for sharing how you've been dealing with the wait. I feel much better now, I think I've accepted that anxiety is part of the process lol
  12. Congrats, @Persae!!! And best of luck with UCLA!l! I am also waiting to hear back from UChicago, NYU, Yale and Toronto, but so far I wasn't invited to any interviews... Sorry, may I ask what does a 'virtual recruitment' mean? I was only "prepared" for interviews, I think I have never heard about recruitment days before.
  13. Great advice, @PeppermintTea! I will definitely check this out!
  14. I will probably not hear anything back in the next few days, so have a nice and relaxing weekend y'all! Stay safe
  15. Very interesting@ClassicsCandidate, thanks for sharing your perspective! Actually I know nothing about the results time frame. I am an international students and I think I have been very anxious. But you are right, most of the Programs say the candidates won't hear from them until Feb / March. Fingers crossed!
  16. Congrats to all of you who have had interviews or acceptances!!! Is it my impression or compared to the same period last year it seems like it is taking longer to get any results?
