I have yet to hear from 4 of the schools that I applied to. I'm not looking forward to the slew of rejections that I am expecting to get. I have an acceptance so at least I have somewhere to go but damn it hurts.

I applied to 6 schools and I've only heard from 2. I feel like it's wild that I haven't heard back from the majority of places! Everyday without a response hurts just a bit too much....

Yeah it is! This is just the first weekend! It's going good! It's fun to meet with other accepted grad students and the grad students already there are really nice and fun and doing their best to help us feel comfortable. The professors are really cool and they all just want you to find the best place for you, even it it's not A&M. They're not pressuring people to accept or anything!

Okay, disregard my last post, I emailed them and here's the response: So it seems that most likely that if we haven't heard back now we might get in later but probably not (at least I think), so hopefully we'll get a response in March

I might email and ask? I've only seen one post on the results list as well so it might be worth it. It's starting to get later in the game and I want to make sure that they aren't done yet.

Has anyone heard anything about Dartmouth? I've heard from a biochem PhD there that that department was doing their visit weekend last weekend. But I haven't seen anything about the chem department. Anyone know anything at all?

Okay, This is it. It's February. We're all going to be hearing back a lot in the next few weeks. Don't give up. We're so close. I hope that you all receive good news!! Good luck everyone! I hope that you get into your dream school!

Hey, I talked to a grad student and they reminded me that many schools are just getting back in session now so they won't send out acceptances for a week or two! We're gonna make it guys! Just a while longer and we've got it! Best of luck to everyone! Don't give up!

Hey! I got into TAMU as well and I haven't heard anything at all from the other schools I applied to. It's still pretty early in the cycle (we've still got 3 months left) so I wouldn't say just accept your results yet. I did a deep dive into the results posted from last cycle and there were still quite a few acceptances that went out at the end of March. Don't give up yet, maybe just allow yourself to relax and know that at least you have somewhere to go!

Congratulations!! That's so exciting! It's is so awesome to see people getting into their first choice!

I totally understand. School is already in full swing for me so I'm on my computer all the time and super busy. Honestly, it's nice to know that we are all struggling together lol I'm going to try to go to the gym more often but school is already getting to me.

Seeing people hear back from schools that I am waiting for sucks. I know that a lot of us are in the same boat. Waiting or all of this is the actual worst. I'm happy that I found this forum. Anyone have any advice for how they're coping with no responses?

Being able to look here and see that we're all in the same boat waiting for responses is really nice. I hope that you all are hearing back from your schools and that you get into a school that you're excited about! These next few weeks are going to be stressful but we've got this! Got an acceptance this week (my first response)! I'm pretty pumped! I kinda convinced myself I wasn't going to get in anywhere so I wouldn't be too disappointed if I didn't get in. Did anyone else do this?
